There isn't a good place to park right by the cache so we recommend you turn into River Road and take the first driveway on the left, then park beside the Judo Clubroom....co-ords provided. (This is the oldest building in Kawerau, the last of the old temporary shops which were set up when Kawerau was 'born' in 1954). It is a short walk across the field to the cache's hiding place.
Alternatively, we parked in Coates Rd and walked across the road to it...almost the same distance. Or can even just park in River Road. Take care of children close to river.
PLEASE TAKE CARE AND REPLACE THE CACHE AS FOUND...it could be a bit fragile.
