This event is your chance to dust off your hoverboard, copy of Jaws 19 and self-lacing trainers, and also learn a bit more about the Geolympix, coming to Ashridge Estate on Sunday, July 31st 2016. That's in the future...

"Where we're going, we don't need roads...

Where: The Snug Area (left of the front door), at The Globe Inn, Grand Union Canal, Globe Lane, Linslade, Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire LU7 2TA Tel. 01525 373338. You can drive to the car park behind The Globe, even though the road becomes the towpath for the canal.

When: Wednesday October 21st 2015, from 7pm til 10pm or later. Pub Quiz starts at 8pm.

Who: Cachers from far and wide, including fans of Back To The Future (feel free to dress as your favourite character. I'll be wearing a 'life preserver') and those curious about the Geolympix.

Why: Because there needs to be a Geolympix Countdown 9 event, and this seemed an ideal time/place. In keeping with the time-travel theme, this pub with the site of the first ever BBH event way way back in Feb 2008.

What: A friendly pub-based meet for geocachers to socialise, as well as swap TBs and Geocoins, and tall caching tales. Also to get help with local puzzles, pick up Geolympix goodies etc. New to caching or cache events? You'll be made especially welcome. Dogs are allowed in the pub, but not the snug area (as that's a food service area) so we'll have to spread out a bit if you're bringing your four-legged friend.

Near by: Three Locks (Bucks) - Grand Union Series by Dan, Pid & Anna (adopted by lots of people) and set in July 2002. A theme of the Geolympix is old caches, and this one is just 1.7miles away from this event's venue.

Now with additional BTTF/General Knowledge/Caching Pub Quiz! You lucky, lucky people!
