Mid Valley Cache Traditional Cache

In December of 2001, Dr. Mead Shaffer, a veterinarian from Boothwyn, Pennsylvania, donated 444 acres of property in Wayne County to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. This gift of pristine land, now known as the Varden Conservation Area, is managed through Promised Land State Park in Pike County.
