Shortly after she was taken into care by the Mansfield Police and transferred to Beechworth as it would be six more years before a hospital would open in Mansfield. Despite all available medical help she passed away two weeks later on 24th August 1860. Her sons, Peter 12 and Andrew 10, now orphans, were given work at the nearby Barjang Station.

The hide...
Is located XY meters at a bearing of ABC degrees from the published coordinates where:
XY = the sum of (the number of letters in the full street name + the number of letters in the town name + 2) where the two sons were born.
If the survivors were taken to a small island off;
Tokyo then ABC = 012
Rio De Janiero then ABC = 056
Sierra Leone then ABC = 123
New York then ABC = 162
