2016 marks the 40th anniversary of the Wake County Parks, Recreation, and Open Space department. Their mission is to provide outdoor recreation and educational opportunities while promoting environmental and cultural stewardship through a managed system of parks and open spaces. They operate several beautiful park and trail facilities where you can hike, mountain bike, sail, horseback ride, and of course, geocache!
To celebrate this milestone, we created this boot print geoart.
Each cache in this geoart is NOT at the posted coordinates. You need to answer a question about awake County parks in order to ascertain the correct coordinates. The questions are not meant to be hard, and can easily be found by doing some quick reading on the Internet!
Now on to the puzzle!
The cache is at: N 35 45.407 W 078 55.XXX
