Enjoy this new bypass trail and hike the Hope-Nicola Valley Trail to the KVR to enjoy a nice 5km loop.
Earlier this year a new trail bypassing the Othello Road route was constructed in the Coquihalla Canyon Provincial Park. The trail starts at the Othello Tunnels Parking lot and connects to the historic Hope-Nicola Trail. In the winter the tunnels are closed to the public so the trail will not be available to hike as a loop hike back through the tunnels. The parking lot is open in the winter. Please rehide the cache as you found it, it is right alongside the trail so there is no need to trample through the woods looking for it.
