Geocache Description:

*** Cache is not at posted coordinates.***

Stage one of this cache is in Assiniboine Park... but not the zoo. No entrance fees for this one!

Our "Journey" focus for 2015 is on some of the ungulates at the Assiniboine Park Zoo. What is an ungulate? Bison, elk, deer, muskoxen, markhors, camels, horses, pot-bellied pigs, reindeer, caribou and pronghorns are all examples of ungulates found in our Winnipeg zoo. They are cloven hoofed, cud chewing mammals. Ungulates occupy many different regions of our world, including some of the most remote areas. Interestingly, ungulates are further divided into two orders… according to their toes.

Artiocactyla are even-toes ungulates (for example camels) and odd-toed ungulates are called perissodactyla (for example heavy horses). If you want to impress your friends, start counting ungulates' toes!

For this puzzle, visit the posted coordinates. At that location, you will find information to solve the puzzle.

Be careful… there is one small twist to this that you will discover once you start trying to solve at GZ.
