This is close to the former site of the old Carleton School of which many of GFM's family taught at and likely attended too! The last edition of this school was moved into the town of Morris and is now part of the Morris and District Museum. The Carleton School's student horse barn was moved to our property and is still standing today and sporting a new roof.
