This cache will take you to Scotland's Butterfly Garden that is located in Optimist Park.
Most travelers pass by this location not realizing that the garden even exists.
The Scotland Optimist Club with help in the form of a Trillium grant, created this butterfly garden back in 2001.
Their hopes were to provide an environment that is pesticide free to entice butterflies and hummingbirds back into the area, while allowing people to enjoy this natural setting.
Winding pathways will lead you around the gardens to various descriptive plaques and then eventually into an amphitheatre.
At the time of the cache placement, the gardens were maintained plantings of mature perennials, shrubs and trees.
No need to walk in the garden plantings to find the cache.
