I dropped into the Newman Visitors Centre looking for some out of the way places.
I was given the way to get out here.
"What's is called ?" I asked.
"Not sure", was the reply, "but make sure you feel the Volcanic rock there. It's nice and cool"
The track to the cache is definately 4WD only, with a potential river crossing and a number of washout areas. Check out the photo for a sample of the track.
Take your time, and enjoy the ride. There is a waypoint with a view back up the gully.
The cache itself is hidden amongst the volcanic rock. There is a spoiler photo there. Its not about he hunt, but about the location for this one.
The GPS was jumping around a fair bit, but if the listed co-ordinates dont work for you, try the alternative listed ones which were taken by my iphone.
