ST. PETER’S POOL

Swimming pool natural
A pool naturali huwa formazzjoni naturali jew kostruzzjoni tal-bniedem, simili għal swimming pool bl-ilma frisk jew mielaħ ġewwa, u jistgħu jiġu ffurmati minn tipi differenti ta 'blat. Fil-każ ta 'Pool San Pietru dan huwa blat tal-franka bajja krema, li kellhom oriġini tagħha fil-erożjoni baħar.

L-Erożjoni
Erożjoni huwa proċess naturali ta 'diżintegrazzjoni, dekompożizzjoni, it-trasport u depożizzjoni ta' materjal blat u ħamrija li kien qiegħed jaġixxi fuq wiċċ id-dinja mill-prinċipji tagħha. Hemm diversi tipi ta 'erożjoni: WATER erożjoni; Erożjoni mir-riħ; Erożjoni glaċjali; EROŻJONI bijoloġiċi; KIMIKA EROŻJONI; Il erożjoni mill-ilma, magħrufa aħjar bħala erożjoni mill-ilma jinkludi xi wħud mit-tipi ewlenin ta 'erożjoni. Wara kollox, l-ilma huwa l-aġent estern aktar erosive eżistenti. Fost it-tipi ta 'erożjoni mill-ilma huma: - L-erożjoni Rain: Dan it-tip ta 'erożjoni hija kkawżata minn ilma tax-xita. Ilma tax-xita jista 'jiskula fuq il-wiċċ tal-ħamrija li tifforma l-għargħar, jew seep fl-art. - L-erożjoni tax-xmara: Huwa l-ħamrija jilbsu kaġunata mill-ilma tax-xmara, dan il-proċess iseħħ grazzi għall-kurrenti qawwija tax-xmajjar li huma kapaċi li jieħdu frammenti ta 'truf, u b'hekk ibiddlu kontorni tiegħu. - L-erożjoni Navy: Il-erożjoni kkawżata mill-ilma baħar huwa msejjaħ il-erożjoni baħar.

L-erożjoni baħar
L-erożjoni kkawżata mill-ilma baħar huwa msejjaħ mill-erożjoni tal-baħar jew brix baħar u hija waħda mill-aktar tipi komuni u kostanti madwar il-pjaneta. L-ilmijiet tal-baħar jaġixxu fuq il-materjali tal-kosta (xatt) ilbies minnhom permezz ta 'azzjoni kimika tagħha u azzjoni mekkanika. Id-dehra ta 'l-xatt tvarja skond in-natura ta' materjali tal-blat li jinsabu fiha (ebusija, kompożizzjoni kimika u l-koeżjoni). Jekk ikun xquq, dawn xquq li jinsabu l-arja huwa kompressat. Peress li l-mewġa jispiċċa, hija tagħti proċess dekompressjoni. Għalhekk il-xquq tal-blat huma estiżi u l-blat se jkun frammentazzjoni..

Pools naturali ta 'Pool ta' San Pietru
Il-pool naturali l-aktar impressjonanti f'Malta tinsab ħdejn Marsaxlokk fuq il-ponta ta 'Delimara Point, Lbiċ ta' Malta. Pool San Pietru ma jkunx il-post eħfef li ssib, iżda fuq il-mod biex Marsaxlokk Bay. Jinsabu fil-bajja żgħira fuq il-Peninsula Delimara, Pool San Pietru huwa ħdejn it-torri ċmieni għoljin li jmiss għall Marsaxlokk Bay. Il-baħar huwa ċar kristall bil-aħdar blu u dawl sabiħ. Dan il-qasam joffri kundizzjonijiet tajba għall-prattika ta 'snorkeling. Il blat ċatt madwar id-pool jipprovdu l-opportunità ideali għal tixmix, kif ma jkunx hemm propiamente bajja qal. Hemm taraġ li huma disponibbli għall-aċċess għall-baħar, iżda hemm ukoll l-għażla ta 'għadis fl-ilmijiet għall-għawwiema aktar avventurużi. Pool San Pietru hija post popolari fost ir-residenti li jgħixu fl-irħula tal-madwar, kif ukoll għat-turisti tfittex għal post aktar remoti li jqattgħu l-ġurnata. Minħabba l-pożizzjoni remota tagħha u toroq / aċċess f'kondizzjoni ħażina, huwa rari iffullar u inti tista 'faċilment isibu post biss ghalik. Just kun żgur li ġġib dak kollu li għandek bżonn għall-ġurnata tiegħek, għaliex m'hemmx faċilitajiet disponibbli. Dan pool naturali jistgħu ma jkunux adattati għat-tfal żgħar, xi kultant meta huwa baħar irjiħat u mhux maħduma. Fi kwalunkwe każ, dawn għandhom dejjem ikunu taħt sorveljanza minħabba r-riskju li jaqgħu il-baħar. Minħabba li dan huwa qasam pjuttost remot mhux rakkomandat aċċess għal dan is-sit waħdu. Madankollu, Pool l-isturdament ta 'San Pietru hija kura reali għal dawk li qed ifittxu f'lok speċjali lil hinn miż-żoni turistiċi busy. Parking: Hemm ipparkjar fil-quċċata tal-irdum, iżda t-triq li hemm ħażina ħafna. Ipparkjar tul it-triq prinċipali huwa rakkomandat, iżda tinvolvi xi żmien mixi.

Int trid twieġeb dawn iż-żewġ domandi bbażati fuq dak li aħna osservat fuq is-sit:p>
- Huwa ġie deskritt preċedentement li l-kosta jista 'jiġi kklassifikat f'żewġ tipi. F'liema tip ta 'kosta hija li dan il-post huwa mdaħħal?;
- Il-erożjoni baħar jistgħu jiġu influwenzati mill-ebusija tal-blat li jagħmel il-kosta (kostali). Kif inti rata l-ebusija tal-blat li huwa dan pool naturali? Inti tista 'tirranġa eżempju biex tiġġustifika it-tweġiba tiegħek?;
Jekk taħseb jimmaterjalizzaw dawn il-kompiti, ibgħat email lill-proprjetarju permezz tal-cache profil u mbagħad tista 'log fil. Jekk xi kwistjoni mhijiex korretta, se naħdmu flimkien biex isolvu l-problema. Nru zkuk E-mail se jitħassru mingħajr kummenti. Uploading ritratti mhijiex obbligatorja, imma aħna imħabba biex tara ritratti sbieħ tal-post ...;

Natural swimming pool
A natural pool is a natural formation or human construction, similar to a swimming pool with fresh or salt water inside, and can be formed by different types of rock. In the case of St. Peter's Pool this is a limestone rock bay cream, which had its origin in the sea erosion.

The erosion
Erosion is a natural process of disintegration, decomposition, transport and deposition of rock material and soil that has been acting on the Earth's surface from its beginning. There are several types of erosion: WATER EROSIAN; WIND EROSION; GLACIAL EROSION; BIOLOGICAL EROSION; CHEMISTRY EROSION; The water erosion includes some of the main types of erosion. After all, water is the most erosive existing external agent. Among the types of water erosion are: - Rain Erosion: This type of erosion is caused by rainwater. The rainwater can drain on soil surface forming the floods, or seep into the ground. - Fluvial Erosion: Is the soil wear caused by river water, this process occurs thanks to the strong currents of the rivers that are capable of taking fragments of edges, thus changing its contours. - Sea Erosion: The erosion caused by the sea water is called the sea erosion.

The sea erosion
The erosion caused by the sea water is called by sea erosion or marine abrasion and is one of the most common types and constant across the planet. The sea waters act on the materials of the coastline (shoreline) wearing them through its chemical action and a mechanical action. The appearance of the shoreline varies according to the nature of rocky materials contained therein (hardness, chemical composition and cohesion). The seawater reacts chemically with some rocky materials wearing them. The mechanical action of water is felt when the sea throws against the shore rocks of variable size resulting in fractures in the coastal rocks. Generally mode can detect two types of coast: the coast of abrasion or cliffs, high and rugged nature; and the beach shore (or storage) - low and sandy. When the sea contact the coastline in the back abrasion zone may experience a phenomenon called "barrier of retreat." This process consists of the following: Dig the waves the base of the barrier and it becomes unstable due to the loss of their support base. This instability causes fragmentation and falling blocks. The fragments originate abrasion platform (range between the sea and the barrier). When the waves hit the barrier face, have also a compressive force acting perpendicular to it. If it has cracks, these cracks located the air is compressed. As the wave recedes, it gives a decompression process. Thus the rock interstices are extended and the rock will be fragmenting.

Natural Pools of St. Peter's Pool
The most impressive natural pool in Malta is located near Marsaxlokk on the tip of Delimara Point, southwest of Malta.
St. Peter's Pool is not the easiest place to find, but is on the way to Marsaxlokk Bay. It's Located in a small bay on the Delimara Peninsula.
The sea is crystal clear with a beautiful blue and light green. This area offers good conditions for the practice of snorkeling. The flat rocks around the pool provide the ideal opportunity for sunbathing, as there is not a beach.
There are stairs that are available for access to the sea, but there is also the option of diving in the waters for the more adventurous bathers. St. Peter's Pool is a popular place among residents living in the surrounding villages, as well as for tourists looking for a more remote place to spend the day.
Because of its remote location and roads / access in poor condition, is rarely crowded and you can easily find a place just for you. Just make sure to bring everything you need for your day, because there are no facilities available.
This natural pool may not be suitable for small children, sometimes when it's windy and rough sea. In any case, they must always be under surveillance because of the risk of falling to the sea. As this is a rather remote area not recommended access to this site alone.

However, the stunning St. Peter's Pool is a real treat for those looking for a special location away from the busy tourist areas.
Parking: There is parking at the top of the cliff, but the road leading there is very bad. Parking along the main road is recommended, but involves some walking time.

To log this EarthCache:
You must answer these two questions based on what we observed on site:
- The coastline may be classified into two types. What kind of coast is this place?

- The sea erosion can be influenced by the hardness of the rock that makes up the coastline (coastal). How do you rate the hardness of the rock that makes this natural pool? Can you give an example to justify your answer?
If you answer these tasks, send an email to the owner through his profile and then you can log it. If any question is not correct, we will work together to solve the problem. No E-mail logs will be deleted without comment.
Uploading photos is optional, but we would love to see beautiful pictures of the place...
