Geocache Description:

This is a 2-stage multi-cache which would have been part of a series, but rules and regulations killed that plan. I guess I should have just made it a series related to a national donut firm and all would be well. Let's make the best of it and enjoy a fun multi-cache anyway.

I wanted to setup a series of caches as I have not done one of those before. I had some ideas for a theme and then I decided to combine two of my interests. Volunteering and caching. However, that concept was crushed by terms of use. Rather than waste a cache that is out there, I will just modify this cache and laugh at the absurdity of LPC caches with DD in the title being perfectly fine.

Stage 1

The coordinates for Stage 1 bring you to a spot I have spent a lot of time at with my kids (5 and 7 years old as of the cache posting date).

Stage 2

So since I could not get a cache very close to the spot I have spent many family friendly hours at with my kids (location already taken) I went with a multi-cache hide. I was very proud that I found a calculation tool in order to set up a projection cache. Somehow I lost the link to the tool I used, but I kept the coordinates for Stage 2 and the details for the projection.

In order to get to Stage 2 you will need to project a waypoint at 216 degrees and 437 feet away from the Stage 1 coordinates. Bring your own pen for this one.
