Havelock North Power Station #1 Traditional Cache

This short trail takes you along the track from Maraetotara Falls past sections of the old Havelock North Power Station.

I have created this short trail in an attempt to introduce more people to this area, particularly those from out of town, as this is one of my favourite spots in the summer time. 

Situated not far from Waimarama and Ocean beaches these falls are the perfect place for a swim without worrying about sand getting into everything, rip tides etc. Perfect for a day or afternoon trip with the family.

This part of the track does start to get slippery when wet and you will need to do a bit os climbing over rocks and some logs to get to cache.

You are looking for a small clip side container which has a micro inside for the log book. This would fit very small trades and pathtags but possibly not trackables.
