"Holy Trinity Church and the Parish Hall are fine examples of Spanish Mission-style architecture. The Holy Trinity Church features "Barley Sugar" columns supporting the arch of the entry porch, arched colonnade on either side of the nave and circular rose-stained glass window above the entrance. Holy Trinity contains the most magnificent display of stained glass windows in Mackay. The Parish Hall was opened in 1938 and the Parish Offices (1939) complement the style of the church". As I walked around these two buildings I noticed the foundation stone for the Parish Hall (dated 4 September 1937) and the foundation stone for the Holy Trinity Church (25 July 1925). I also noticed that the wall along the front of Holy Trinity was built by the children of the church in 1932.
