This is a single track road with a few tight passing places when driving a car. I use every day to take my daughter to school and enjoy the drive every morning, especially when the sun is out. In the summer it is a leafy lane and in the winter there are views across the valley. Sheep and buzzards frequent the area along with Jay's and Green Woodpecker. If you have the time take the walk from Cilfynydd common through to Llanfabon. This particular cache is very close to the elctric works in Llanfabon, notice the buzz.
The cache is on the side of the road, so no need to go into the fields, it does provide the opportunity for a cache and dash, however there is no parking by the cache. You will need to park at least 100m up the road towards Llanfabon.
