This cache is one in a series of 14. You can do them all as a long out and back, or as a semi loop figure "9". If you choose the semi loop, be warned that you will have to cross Kirby Creek on a downed cedar at about N48° 24.628' W123° 53.123' or wade across between there and about N48° 24.676' W123° 53.161' and bushwhack up the hill to the marked trail.
NOV 15/15: THE DOWNED CEDAR "BRIDGE" IS NO LONGER THERE, PRESUMABLY TAKEN OUT BY SOMETHING LARGE WASHING DOWNSTREAM.
Whenever we're out hiking, the conversation sooner or later turns to our favourite post trek beverages. As we were heading up the hill from Blueberry Flats, and discussing what theme to adopt for this series, it just seemed natural to honour some of those brews. Our Island is quickly becoming known for high quality craft beer, and we found no shortage of inspiration.
Mindful of the rule against advertising, though, and in good geocaching tradition, we've hidden the actual beer names. See if you can recognize any of your own brew hahas.
"Putting the micro in microbrew. It's the yeast we could do."
TAKING NOTES: This one keeps the head down and the crispness up. You'll be hoppin' happy you saw your way clear to its view on life.
