It's Time To Party!!
GeocachingNSW would like to extend an invitation to all geocachers to come along to our Christmas Party at Prospect. Join us for some fun and socializing to celebrate another year (almost) of great geocaching fun.
The event will be held at the picnic area below the dam near the banks of the Prospect Reservoir. The entry is off Reservoir Road, Prospect - follow the road south to the published coordinates (Walder Park). The event will be held on Sunday, 29th November, 2015, commencing at 11am and concluding around 3pm.
The park includes a number of tables, open grass space, kids playground, car parking and toilet block. The tables aren't covered, but there are plenty of shady trees around. A member of the committee will be arriving early to hopefully secure a spot but please bring picnic blankets, chairs, cookers and shelter if you like. Ensure you bring a hat and sunscreen as well as your picnic gear. Please BYO all your food and drink requirements for the day. Please note there are no barbecues.
New geocachers are most welcome to attend as it’s a great way to meet the local geocaching community and pick up some tips on any aspect of the game. Don’t forget you can swap travel bugs and geocoins at the event. The Association will also have a number of geocaching related items for sale.
At the Christmas Party, we will be announcing the “2014/15 Geocache Of The Year”... but not until you have voted. Attendees on the day will all have the chance to vote, or you can vote ONCE using the Survey Monkey link below. Please click on the banner to cast your vote. This event is open to all GeocachingNSW members and non-members alike, all are welcome! Come and learn what the Association does and have a great time meeting like-minded folk.
