Bang! Bang!
A sound you are very likely to hear near GZ if you visit at a weekend or during the holidays, as this cache is situated quite close to the New Zealand Deerstalkers’ Association Hutt Valley Branch shooting range. If you started at the main car park at the Kaitoke end of the Rail Trail you will have passed the range on your way to GZ.

The cache
The cache is a little bit further along the track from the shooting range as it can be a bit muggly nearby and is down a side track so you will be out of sight when searching for it. Please unscrew the lid to get at the log: do not try pulling on the lid.
You may need fine-nose tweezers or a toothpick to extract the log from the container, so please come prepared. You will also have to bring your own writing implement as there is no room for one in the cache, which contains a log only and has no room for TBs or Geocoins either. Online log entries that do not have a matching entry in the paper log will be deleted: if the log is too wet to write on (should no longer happen now I've improved the cache) then please take a photo of the log scroll only (not the cache) and post it with your log entry to prove you actually found the cache.
