Geocache Description:

This hunt leads you on a journey through wetlands and over beaches, past pitcher plants and flocks of little seabirds. It's an area that's known human habitation for thousands of years, and when you see it you'll understand why. It hits on all the senses, with the salt air, rolling surf, wild berries and tall grasses dancing in the breeze.

You'll park your car at a trailhead in beautiful Cape Freels, NL, then follow on foot the well worn path used since ancient times. You'll pass through wetlands and find yourself upon a long sandy beach. Your adventure doesn't end there, though. A new path leads to a stunning view of sand and surf (just ask Jim). Reward your find with a handful of partridgeberries from nearby bushes and refresh your feet with a dip in the cool Atlantic. (Note: there's paper to note your visit, but nothing to write with. Please bring a very small pen or pencil and make a trade from the cache!)
