Geocache Description:

A mini-series in Parkwood Springs, Sheffield: A nano, two micros and a small geocache leading to a regular-sized bonus cache.

Parkwood Springs is an interesting and hilly green space overlooking the City of Sheffield. It contains woodland and heath, open parkland and a range of natural habitats. There are spectacular views over the city centre as well as the suburbs and the distant moors of the Peak District.

I was surprised to see that while the site boasts many interesting features such as a viewing platform, sculptures, two areas of 'ancient woodland' and two Sites of Special Scientific Interest for geologically important stone types, before now it contained absolutely no geocaches!

So, I decided to set this right and place a short series of five geocaches of various sizes. Each of them should be a little harder to find than the average, but then again they're not too fiendish so just keep your eyes peeled.

This is the third in the series (although you can find the first four in any order) and it's another micro. I'm afraid it's hidden in some stuff cachers generally hate - you'll see what I mean when you get to GZ. Persevere though - you'll lay your hands on it in the end!

Please bring your own pen to sign the log sheet, and remember to make a note of the information on the log sheet needed to find the fifth in this series - the bonus cache. Happy finding!
