When I first thought of putting out a tribute cache for Gillian Olver a.k.a. H.F.Reign, I planned for a long walk in a swamp. When I came upon this place, I decided that this would be the location. The walk isn't long but when I placed this cache, frogs were leaping into and out of puddles, chipmunks were chupping softly and jays were yelling. Dragonflies and phantom craneflies flew here and there. There were moose tracks on the riverbank and the laneway. It seemed as though Gill was walking beside me.
This spot will probably be flooded in spring which Gill would have liked. There accuracy was only about 7 m when I was getting the coordinates but this should be a fairly easy find anyway.
Included in container is a book of word-search puzzles. Gill liked to do these despite, or perhaps because of, being told that doing this sort of puzzle would make people think she was stupid. Initially I thought of using it as an FTF prize but instead I would like you to do this: If you knew Gill, if you've ever cached with Gill, if you've ever found an H.F.Reign cache, pull a puzzle out of the book and complete it in Gill's memory.
