On Saturday, December 5th, 2015 around 7:00pm, arrive at the posted coordinates.
When you arrive, please prepare for our geofamily picture in front of the 'tree'. We will take the picture around 7:10. If you are so inclined, please don your best (worst) holiday attire for the picture. There might even be a prize for the best (worst) dressed.
In addition to the geofamily picture and fashion contest, you are invited to bring a wrapped geocaching related present ranging between $5 and $10. When you arrive you will find a large container under the tree, please place your present here. When we finish the picture, everyone who brought a present will form a circle and we will pass out the gifts one by one. When they have all been distributed, we will start playing some music. While the music plays, those with gifts will pass them around trading one for one. When the music stops, you can open your present! Each person to bring a present gets a present and we hope that no one gets their own! Make sure you keep the presents geocaching related as well as keeping them family friendly. I am sure there will be several geocaching youngins participating in the gift swap as well as well seasoned ones. The present is strictly optional and if you choose to bring one per person or one per caching name, just remember, to take only the number of gifts home with you that you bring to the event with you.
Also, while setting up for the picture, remember, the youngsters and shortys up front and the tall ones in the back!
Before leaving, if you feel like it, sign PAGA's Christmas card (which is the log) and then travel safely everyone!
We will probably be done by 7:45, but you know cachers and how they like to talk, so if the weather isn't terrible, we will probably be there until 8, but if the weather is icky and fridgid, most will probably be leaving around 7:30.
