Geocache Description:

Shiloh School

Shiloh School was an African American school established after the end of the Civil War.  Though the school burned in 1993 the front facade is still intact and being preserved by the present land owners who have made the walls part of their property.  I had not been here in years and was really pleased to see that some of the old building is being preserved by someone who apparently sees the value in the history of the area.  

The cache is very near the marker.  There really isnt any place to place a cache since the building and grounds are someone's private property and front yard.
