Geocache Description:

Come for the cache stay to explore the unique waterfalls.  Take Old Cartier Rd until you reach Fox Lake Rd, 9.1 km down Fox Lake Rd there is a nice pull out area from the road where you can park (Fox Lake Rd is a little rough, made it in a Matrix but wasn’t driving too fast). Two path options exist, a quad path leaving from the parking area (N 46°36.493’, W081°40.575’), which will split a couple of times requiring left turns each time, this path is a much easier walk than the foot path but distance is longer.  The shorter option is a foot path (N 46°36.528’ , W081°40.423’) starting a little ways down the road from which you just came, the path quickly opens into a camp site area and then narrows (to the right) to what is little more than a game trail at some times until you reach the falls.  Where the footpath trail meets the quad trail is the best place to head off trail to the cache.  I did this since the cache is large and noticeable so hopefully it’s off trail enough that it doesn’t become target practice for hunters.  The cache box is large hanging in a tree but it’s a puzzle box with a small container that holds a logbook and a first to find pin for whoever solves it first.  Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy these falls there are plenty of smooth rock areas to sit and enjoy the view.  This area is best viewed in summer or fall as winter and spring would make the area dangerous, and obstruct some of the incredible views.
