This is the first of a set of 13 caches with a bonus at the end. Please collect all the numbers written in red and in a circle, and the number of the cache.
The walk is not quite a circle but after the bonus cache, if you carry along the same road for about 150yds you will see a wooden bridge on the left opposite a close, and a Public right of way sign, follow the sign and after walking along the edge of two small fields you will come back onto Highgate Lane, turn right and walk about 450yds and you are back near the beginning of the walk. You can drive down the lane but it is quite a rough surface. Highgate lane leads to Brickyard lane, the walk takes you to near this lane but not need to walk along it, there is another short lane off Highgate lane, which you will go down and this leads to the busy Alford road which only has grass verges, so be very careful and keep hold of children.
As this is the start of this walk I have had the fun of trying to decide which was the best place to put the cache. The cache a plastic container
Due to the nature of the lane this walk is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs and sensible shoes/boots should be worn.
The bonus cache can be found at :=
