Geocache Description:

A camping event to celebrate Halloween. 

A group of cachers will be camping in the area so we thought we would host an event. We are camping Friday 30th October to Sunday 1st November. It is a CCC site costing £10 per night including electric hook up. There are about 10 hookups on a 1st come 1served basis. There are also non electric pitches. You are welcome to join us for the camping or just the main event. Day visitors are welcome. Dressing up will be in the evening 8-10 pm or later.

 

The main event will be held from 8pm until 10pm on Saturday 31st October on the camping field.

We will be able to dress up on the Saturday evening and have some activities. There will be competitions for the best dressed caravan/tent and person. If you would like to bring a carved pumpkin with you they would be great to have around the campfire.

There are are loads of caches to find in the area including some excellent series

Booking can be arranged by contacting the campsite directly.  There are a few pitches with electric hookups as well as some without.

When booking can you mention you are part of the geocaching group with Karen Harris. As the weather is becoming more variable, we have arranged to use the skittle alley if it is raining on the evening.
