One For The Birds Traditional Cache

Another geocache located at The Robert F. Smith Cold Brook Preserve, a beautiful parcel of land maintained by Harwich Conservation Trust. The extra wide trails make it the perfect place to bring children for a nature walk. It's also a great place for bird watching. Parking is available at the Harbormaster's Workshop on Bank Street; look for trail signs to guide you.

From the Harwich Conservation Trust website: "In 2001, HCT preserved 66 acres of wetland and surrounding upland in the heart of Harwich Port. The Robert F. Smith Cold Brook Preserve protects wildlife habitat, water quality, and walking trails. Cold Brook flows through the 66 acres to Saquatucket Harbor on Nantucket Sound. In the fall of 2015, the Preserve was named in honor of Robert F. Smith, HCT Founding Trustee and President for 27 years.."
