Geocache Description:

Stone Hill Winery was established in 1847 by Germann immigrants. It is a short drive from downtown Hermann and is on the National Register of Historic Places. At the turn of the 20th century, Stone Hill Winery was the largest winery West of the Mississippi River in the United States. Beautiful views from the hillside setting, good food, and lovely landscaping. Especially colorful in the fall. Enjoy!
