Urban Decay cache
This cache is dedicated to “urban decay”. Recently I have been doing some research on these types of locations, what they once were, and what they are now. There are many examples of urban decay around today, most of which you wouldn’t even notice in your day to day activities.
For some reason these places seem to call to me, so I figured I would place a cache near this location.
There is a bunch of information on urban decay on the internet.
This specific location was Steak and Ale. Steak and Ale was owned by a restaurant group called S&A Restaurant group. There were 58 locations that closed on July 29, 2008 due to the company filing for chapter 7 bankruptcy, also in this group was Bennigans.
According to information on the net, the bankruptcy filing only affected the company owned restaurants, franchise owned restaurants remained open.
