Hopkins Park is one of Brunswick's community parks. There are many soccer fields in this 32 acre park, as well as a playground, picnic tables, a basketball court, walking trails, and wooded areas to enjoy. Leashed pets are welcome here.
Near the northern entrance to the park, you will see the second largest Swamp White Oak tree in Ohio. The Swamp White Oak (Quercus bicolor) is an oak tree found primarily in the Midwestern United States. The undersides of its leaves are white in color, in contrast to the dark green uppersides (hence the descriptive "bicolor" of its name).

There are two entrances to this park. From the north, you may enter at the end of Diana Drive. From the south, there is an entrance off of Laurel Road.
Park hours are from dawn to dusk. Absolutely NO night caching!
You are looking for a small container covered with camouflage duct tape. When selecting a location for this hide, I noticed signs of muggle activity in the immediate vicinity, so please be stealthy when searching. After finding the geocache, please be sure to re-hide exactly as found so that it is not easily discovered by those that are not specifically looking for it.
11-23-16: The cache location has been moved within the park due to problems with muggles. I am hoping that the new location is far enough away from muggly eyes that the cache will remain secure in its hiding place.
