Geocache Description:

The A30 is a major road, running south-west from London to Land's End. It is 284 miles (457 km) long and it starts right here.

The A30 used to provide the most direct route from London to the South West, however now most people will use the M3 motorway and the A303 road, or the M4 / M5 motorways for this journey.

The A30 starts here at what is locally known as Henley’s roundabout, due to the name of the garage that stood here on the site now occupied by a petrol station.

The other landmark here was The Travellers Friend Pub, now a fast food restaurant.

Land’s End is 252 miles from here as the crow flies, and the A30 is only 284 miles long, so this shows just how direct its path is.

You are looking for a magnetic micro, a little larger than a film pot.

It's a busy location so stealth will be required, even in the early hours of the morning.

Congratulations to cacheaccounting on the FTF. Man you need to sleep !!
