Camp Sladdin, Clevedon Scenic Reserve and the regenerated Thorp's Quarry are jewels in the township of Clevedon.
Enjoy the waterfall, birdlife and the wonderful examples of king ferns that grow at GZ. The Quary and surrounding area were formed into the clevedon scenic reserve in the late 50's and the quarry area is currently being restored into a freshwater wetland.
While at the reserve, please follow all signs for gate closure times and kauri die back control protocols.
The cache container is a camoed screw top container with a log book and some swag items. BYOP.
Please don't damage the surroundings, the cache is under the boardwalk to the right of the sign.
