This first case (Formerly known as The Aqueduct Triangle 1)is close to the River Tame Aqueduct which sees the now redundant Ansons Branch Canal cross what was once a railway, now a pathway under the canal, and a separate aqueduct pipes the River Tame under the canals remains. You can view this by taking the steps down from the canals towpath.
If you are starting from Bentley Mill Way at the waypoint this pathway is the tow path to the now disused Ansons Branch Canal which also forms part of Monarch's Way and will take you along to the Walsall Canal where you can cross the canal at Foresters footbridge and join the towpath of the Walsall Canal.
WARNING: The path is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs and as always take care with the geokids alongside canals, although this is a disused canal there is still water covered with algae and reeds where the canal once ran. The cache is near the steps to the aqueduct, but beware as at certain times of the year the cache may be protected by brambles or nettles.
You are looking for a small tube, no room for for swaps, trackables or a pen, so please bring your own, and tweezers. I would love to hear your stories and any pictures of the aqueduct or canal.
