Medium cache located near the tourist information centre in Nipigon. The nearby handcrafted sign welcoming travellers to the town of Nipigon, Ontario. This sign won "Best in the World" honours from Signs of the Times magazine published in Cincinnati, Ohio in 2015.
Not much of a hike to this cache. Though it appears closer to the highway you will want to park in the lot at the Tourist Information Centre safely off the road. The cache is available year round. If you are finding it in the winter be gentle with the plastic container, and remember lefty loosey righty tighty.
