The walk to the cache can be done as a circuit, passing through a variety of habitat. This cache is on close to the highest point in the walk and near other caches which are along the route.
A small car park capable of holding about 3 cars is just before the barrier at the end of the bitumen in pottery Road and just beyond the barrier is another parking location. This barrier is normally unlocked; in fact it has never been seen locked..
Walk along the gravel road for 300 metres until reaching a bend where a walking track will be observed heading up on the left and marked by two white posts. Follow this on to each of the listed waypoints which are also shown in the map below.
Note that towards the end of the walk a fence and gate is reached and once through the gate the vehicle track joins one coming from Mcrobies Gully. The left branch could once be used but is now closed. Backtrack along one of the track to the carpark.
The distance of the walk is about 5k.
