The first Little Free Library was set up in Wisconsin in 2009. As of September, 2015, there were over 32,000 set up in 70 countries around the world. I saw this library pop up in the spring time, and finally got to communicating with the Manitoba Teacher's Society to ask permission to hide a cache here. They were very excited to host a cache and very inviting to have lots of folks come by and check out the books. Visitor parking is located in the lot just behind the library, and a picnic table is also there. The Manitoba Teacher's Society is the organization that represents 15,000 public school teachers for professional development and collective bargaining. It was founded in 1919. The oldest bergmannfamily offspring is a member, and it seems like the next will follow suit.
