There is no reason to take anything apart.

Simply enter the correct combination to open the lock! Did you enter the wrong combination? Simply push the lock into the container twice and this will clear the incorrect combination and then enter the correct one. If you entered the correct combination and the lock opens remove it and push up on the small lever the lock was securing. This will open the container. Sign the log and replace as found.

Be sure to replace the lock with the combination rocker in the up position.
