Chikurin-in Gunpoen Ryokan Traditional Cache

Chikurin-in is a shrine in the Yoshino area, on the back road between Kinpu Shrine and Dainichi-ji. There is a ryokan next to the shrine where you can stay and enjoy a monk's night of prayer and meditation. The cache can be found in the car park opposite the shrine entrance.

There are many temples and shrines in this area; the whole of the Kii peninsular all the way from Kyoto to the sea at Kushimoto in Wakayama, along the Kumano Kodo, it would take a lifetime or more to see them all let alone visit and learn something about them.
