Join us at Haines Memorial State Park on Sunday, October 18th from 11-1. We recently found this park through both Geocaching and the East Bay Bike Path. Haines Memorial State Park in Barrington is a great jumping-off point for geocaching adventures. The park features several caches (with more to come before the event), a boat ramp, many picnic sites with fireplaces, and access to the East Bay Bike Path. The EBBP itself is loaded with caches, including 4Swans NHL Series, and is a great walk/bike in either direction from the park.
Since we are veering away from the "dining" pattern that these events have had, let's make this a BYO Picnic event like the last event was. Feel free to bring your own snacks/drinks to munch on. But please, do not bring any chocolate chip cookies =) If you were at the last event, you will get that joke. We will provide tables and a cooler but feel free to bring anything else along that you think will help.
