This well tended cemetery is a delight. The headstones and monuments recount the difficult history of a town founded on mining. It's a peaceful place for a rest at the start or the end of a walk around the Ross Goldfield Water Race Walkway to enjoy the view, the sounds of the village below and the birds in the surrounding native bush.
The nearest grave is for three members of the Miller family from the late 19th century. Discover the history of the family - how did the 11 year old Archie die? - and the history of the people who lived and died here.
The geocache was placed here as part of Conservation Week, November 2015.
