This is a family friendly geocache off of the orange trail not far from where the trail first intersects with the silver trail.
Solomonpeeps placed this cache several years ago with his/her 11 yo twins. Solomonpeeps has given me the honor of taking over the responsibility of Log Jam. So far I love getting the messages that that my fellow geocachers have logged. There is room in the geocache for swag. Please remember that if you take some swag you need to replace it with something of equal or more value back into the cache. I started going to Ramapo Reservation 20 years ago. In fact on this particular trail was the one and only hiking trip with my husband. The trail is great. We learned that hiking wasn't for him. But we have returned to the reservation a few times for him to take sunset photos, his passion, around the lower lake. Fortunately my 9 year old loves going on geocaching adventures with me. If new to geocaching and love taking the kids outdoors, the reservation and this geocache are a great place to start. Happy Geocaching!
