BEAUTY IN DECAY

This is the fifth geocache in the “Beauty In Decay” series, which highlights abandoned objects that once had purpose and now take on a different life, left to ruin and decay in their current surroundings.

This is a lovely part of the River Stour and the setting of this cache. The photo above shows the state of the old farm machinery from around 4 years ago. The bottom picture shows what it looks like today, with a large section taken away, leaving behind what is left to hide itself further within the overgrowth. At the time of placing this cache there is a good pathway up to the machinery, however, because of the rustiness of the machinery, the cache is not placed on it so there is no need for a fingertip search.
