Search for this cache and enjoy the fine view from the overlook which includes the Mississippi and Minnesota River valleys, Fort Snelling, Pike Island, the Mendota Bridge, Pilot Knob/Oheyawahi and beyond. This area played a historic part in the Dakota nation as well as the expanding western frontier of the United States - the story is told on the overlook displays. A cool paving stone map of the area also shows "you are here." There is parking nearby - stealth will likely be necessary at this popular spot - BYOP - please rehide carefully, thanks!
