Geocache Description:

This cache is located along the Jackson Road segment of the Knobstone Trail. Park at N 38º 30.804/W 085º 52.404.

This cache is based on the same theme as the now-defunct Mom's Attic v2.0 (GC5BCF)in Charlestown State Park. All the initial contents of the cache spent between twenty and fifty two years in my mother's attic in her home in Milford, Connecticut. To get to the trail head take I-65 to the Henryville exit and turn west on to Hwy 160. Take the first left hand turn on to H'ville/Bluelick Road. When you reach the end at a T intersection, turn left. About 0.4 mile down the road, turn right on to Bartle Knob Road. Approximately 4.4 miles down this road you will top a rise and see a street sign on the left hand side of the road that says "Hill Top Rd." Turn right and look for the trail head parking lot about 0.3 mile on the left. The sign is offset from the road a bit. Walk back to Bartle Knob Road and turn left. Trail head signs will be to your left a few rods down the road. Take the Deam Lake trail. The New Chapel trail will take you to "If It's Round, It Must Be a Knob" cache (GC5D1D). The trail is wonderful, but hilly. A good hiking stick will prove useful.
