You will need to stop at the guard shack. State that you want to "Visit Boyton Park" or "Visit the Civil War Park". You should be directed to park just past the guard shack on the right.

This is a Civil War mystery cache. To solve this one, you will need to spend a few minutes reading the various plaques located within the pocket park.
After you arrive at the posted coordinates and park, spend some time viewing the sites of downtown Chattanooga from the park, including the river and the heights beyond. The terrain impacts why Chattanooga was founded, and how the battle of Chattanooga was fought. There are five plaques located here.

Plaque 1 Re-opening the Tennessee River
