Finally a new bridge the original bridge has been hit by a lorry on numerous occassions and the council tried to close the bridge a number of times, but with no success as the locals kept opening it back up!
A new bridge was finally started at the start of this year however substandard concrete meant the pillars had to come down and be re done! We finally have a lovely new bridge linking Renfrew to Hillington :-)
