Part of the "Scouting the Tarn" series, a series of caches which I placed around the tarn for my Scout geocaching badge. There are 3 traditional caches each containing a clue which will help with finding the final cache (GC6424D).
This is the first in the series and used to be a slightly unusual container. Unfortunately this was taken and so we had to replace it with a boring film canister! The amount of tree cover made getting accurate co-ordinates a bit tricky but hopefully with the hint it won't be too difficult. Although small kids will have no trouble finding it, you might need an adult to retrieve it.
Bring your own pen and don't forget to write down the number for the bonus cache (it's on the log sheet)!
