Platte River Overlook Traditional Cache

An easy stop and grab, The cache is near a great view of the Platte River. There is a chance you can spot one or more of the Bald Eagles that nest on the west side of the river in the Cottonwood trees. There are also Redtailed Hawks and other wildlife in the area.

Located above the Platte River in a wide pullout area. There is a large amount of wildlife in the area. Across the river in a stand of Cottonwood trees are the nests of a pair of Bald Eagles that can be seen year around. You can also spot some cattle and horses on a near by farm. The container is a pint sized container with items to trade with room for trackables.
