Please also be extra careful resealing the 'cache container'. BYOP. Be careful and time your find as this is a popular playground with basketball half court and skate park, making attractive to children of all ages. This fascinating reserve offers something for everyone: joggers, walkers, families and dogs. Wander over wide open spaces, enjoy the beauty of the wetland environment or explore pockets of bush. With wide pathways for walking and jogging and a landscape that includes extensive native planting, Waiatarua Reserve also provides sanctuary for a variety of wetland bird species.
