Niels staat hier stilletjes wat rond te draaien. Waar hebben die ganzen hem nu weer eens gedropt? Wat voor moeilijke en gevaarlijke avonturen staan hem nu weer te wachten?
Maar eerst en vooral, waar moet hij nu naartoe? Zijn opdracht is om de moedergans te gaan zoeken, de ganzen mogen dit gebied niet betreden omdat het de rustplaats is van vele anderen ganzen en zij worden hier niet toegelaten. Moedergans verstopt zich ergens, ze is gewond en kan niet weg. Hopelijk komt hij nog op tijd.
Voor zich ziet hij een typisch zweedse boerderij met een klein kapelletje, maar hoe heraakt hij nu verder? Welke richting zou hij uit moeten?
Zoveel vragen en zo weinig antwoorden. Plots kreeg hij een ingeving. De gansen hadden hem op het laatst nog een woord toegefluisterd: tallkotte. Terwijl hij over het woord nadenkt komt er een grote kar aangereden en moet hij maken dat hij wegkomt. Hij loopt snel in de richting van de beek...
Hij vervolgt zijn weg, langs een natte en moerassige weg. Tot overmaat van ramp begint het ook nog te regenen. Zou er nog een einde komen aan deze tocht? Kletsnat komt hij aan bij een toren. Hier kan hij schuilen tot hij droog is. Hij moet het wel in stilte doen. Hij zet zich op het bankje en geniet van zijn eten en drankje welke hij mee nam in zijn picknicktas.
Zou hij hier een extra aanwijzing vinden?

Het bleef regenen en de tijd drong, hij moest op tijd bij moedergans zijn om de medicijnen te brengen. Zou hij dan toch niet beter doorlopen en misschien komt hij later nog een schuilplaats tegen?

Eindelijk had hij alle aanwijzingen gevonden om de schuilplaats van de moedergans ontdekken, hopelijk kwam hij nog op tijd om haar te redden.

Ici Niels tournait en rond.Où les oies l'avaient déposer? Quelles aventures difficiles et dangereuses l'attendait une fois de plus?
Mais tout d'abord, où est-ce-qu'il devait aller? Sa mission était de trouver la mère oie, les oies ne pouvaient pas pénétrer cette région, parce que c'était la demeure de beaucoup autres d'oies.Mais mère oie se cachait quelque part, était blessée et ne pouvait partir. Il espérai arriver à temps.
Devant lui il voyait une fermette typiquement suédoise avec une petite capelle. Mais, comment arriver plus loin? Quelle direction à prendre?
Tant de questions et si peut de réponses. Une idée soudaine lui venait en tête. Les oies lui avaient chuchoté un dernier mot: tallkotte.
Une grande charrette venait sa direction, il devait partir en vitesse, direction du ruisseau.Il continuait son chemin le long d'une route humide et marécageuse et pour rendre les choses pire il commençait à pleuvoir.Est-ce ce voyage ne se termineras jamais?
En arrivant à une tour, il était trempé jusqu'au os. Ici il pouvait se réfugier jusqu'il soit sec.Peut être manger un petit bout et boire un peut d'eau.Trouverait-t-il ici une indice supplémentaire?

Nils was quietly turning around. Where did those geese drop him this time? What kind of difficult and dangerous adventures would wait for him this time?

And while he thinks about the word there comes a big carriage and he has to leave here very soon. He walks in the direction of the brook...
Then he follows his road, walking over a very wet and swampy road. To make matters worse it starts to rain. Would he get to the end of this trip?
Soaking wet he sees a tower. Here he can hide until he is dry. But he must do it very quietly. He sits down on a bench and enjoys his food and a little drink he brought with him.
Maybe here he can find an extra clue?
